Growing a successful location-independent business can be an incredibly challenging and (at times) a frustrating task. Having been in the game myself for 11 years, I want to offer some takeaways based on my own experience: ?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Focus On Results – building a business is not an hourly job. Success is measured by results, not time spent accomplishing the result.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Schedule Some Face-to-Face Time – many jobs can be done completely remotely. That’s AMAZING! However, nothing compares to the good old face-to-face. Luckily, programs like Skype and Zoom allow us to be face-to-face with almost anyone in any location! Take advantage of these online tools.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Understand and Respect Differences – When working online, it’s easy to forget to take cultural and religious differences into account. Even the time the differences can be hard to keep track of. Take some time to get to know your clients, co-workers, etc. Just because you’re not in the same room as them, doesn’t mean you should forget their birthday or assign them to work on a religious holiday that they celebrate.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Working from anywhere can be challenging, but it is also incredibly liberating, empowering, and exciting! Are you up for the challenge?? What #workfromanywhere questions do you have for me?
