Give Yourself the Love and Attention You Deserve

Does anyone else find it extremely difficult to simply sit down, relax and do nothing for a whole day…even during these times when we’re all at home with nowhere to go (and some of us even with much less to do)? 🧘🏼‍♀️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I am a natural workaholic. I literally have to remind myself to slow down, relax and stop working! I use to subconsciously avoid stillness and silence by filling up every second of my day with work, chores (even reorganizing my sock drawer), crappy guys that I wasn’t even interested in, hours and hours at the gym (to the point of major injury and exhaustion), the list goes on and on and on. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It wasn’t until I embraced stillness and silence that I truly started to deeply heal my soul wounds. Wow it wasn’t easy, sooooo uncomfortable at first. Now I crave it, my health depends on it, and I make it a huge priority no matter where i am in the 🌍.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It’s in the silence where our most productive healing is done. 💆🏼‍♀️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Stop and go give yourself a heaping dose of love and attention.
